Simulation in 3 easy steps

1. Select CAD

CENOS RF supports a neutral format (.step) that can be exported from any CAD software like Fusion360, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, Creo, and others

2. Set parameters

Define such model settings as frequency sweep, materials for antenna parts and other objects, port/feed settings, a parametric study

3. Analyse results

CENOS RF shows directivity (radiation pattern), S-plots, VSWR plot, Smith chart, and others. Custom plots with Python script.

Custom post-processing with Python scripts

CENOS™ RF provides a powerful set of post-processing tools, which can be customized or supplemented by a user with the means of Python script.

Reload CAD and parametric study

When you want to re-run a simulation with modified geometry, simply reload the CAD to CENOS™ RF, and the software will preserve all settings. A special interface is available to set up a parametric study.

 CENOS™ RF functionality development timeline

In 2021, CENOS™ RF software was launched with the basic antenna design functionality.

In the same year, multi-port functionality and a parametric workbench were added

In 2022, CENOS™ RF version 2.0 was launched adding lumped elements for RLC, waveguides, and more RF functionality.

The user experience was raised with a CAD replacement function, manual meshing interface, and simple two-click point-based port assignment.

At the end of 2022, co-axial port, Smith charts, and Touchstone (SnP) file export were added.

In early 2023, CENOS™ RF supported RFID design with complex port impedance definition and launched a new post-processing interface, including custom plots through Python scripting

We'll keep on enhancing the software by adding new features and functionality. Some of the next updates include:

  • further strengthening of post-processing capabilities;

  • introduction of adaptive meshing;

  • native integration with Autodesk's Fusion 360 and, later, other CAD software;

  • support of polarization calculation;

  • possibility to use a universal port definition.
